Two hours later

Something happened to my finger. By the end of my shift, my right middle finger was extremely swollen and very blue. Jeffrey took me to urgent care to see what was going on. The doctor asked me what I did to which I replied I had no clue. I told him the only reason I was there to see him was because it came on so suddenly and I have no idea how it happened. Two hours later my diagnosis was a bruised finger with no known cause. 8 years studying medicine and that's the best he could come up with. Thank you Jeff for staying by my side the entire visit. Thanks for the dinner, too.
