Today was an awful day. I don't know why it seems that slackers in life get by with being slackers, and hard workers like me just get more and more and more expected out of them. Have you ever noticed that??? Currently I am doing two different jobs at Target. Part of my responsibilities include overseeing the receiving department. A couple of weeks ago, I had to fire my receiving specialist because he was stealing from the company. I have another girl who can do receiving, but she is kind of ditzy. So, I decide to split up the receiving responsibilities and share them with her. Well, on Tuesday she made a HUGE mistake to the tune of $1200.00 so I pulled her out of receiving. What does that mean?? You guessed it, I am now in receiving. The only problem is that now I am expected to do that job AND my job. I was expressing my frustration to my boss this morning only to hear, "Relax, Jill, I know if anybody can handle it, you can." Obviously my boss does not know me too well. I feel the Jersey girl unleashing inside of me and it is NOT going to be pretty!!!

I think Lakeville needs to see Jersey Girl unleashed. They just won't ever get it otherwise.
